OVERVIEW

Welcome to Drone-Mapper. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Drone-Mapper LLC (trade name Drone-Mapper). Drone-Mapper LLC operates this store and website and provides related products and services, including detection hardware, Drone-Mapper Web Service (hosted software), optional managed connectivity, documentation, and customer support (collectively, the “Services”). Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables certain shopping and website features.

These terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your legal rights, including warranty disclaimers, limitations of the Services, and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use or access the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence (or that you have authority to bind your organization).

To use certain Services you may need to provide information such as email address, billing, payment, shipping, and account credentials. You represent that all information you provide is correct, current, and complete, and that you have all rights necessary to provide it.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your accounts (store and software). You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person without our prior written consent.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

We offer physical products (such as detector and gateway hardware), software and hosted services (including Web Service subscriptions), and optional connectivity-related offerings (such as Managed Starlink components), as described on our site at the time of purchase.

We try to describe products accurately. Colors or appearance may differ depending on your device and settings. We do not warrant that appearance or quality will match every expectation or on-screen rendering.

Descriptions, features, and availability may change at any time without notice. We may discontinue products or limit quantities by person, region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.

Business and operational use. Unless a product page states otherwise, purchases may be used for your internal business, organizational, or operational purposes. You may not resell, rebrand, or redistribute our products or Services as a competing product offering without our prior written consent. Export and sanctions laws still apply.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order for any lawful reason. An order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and payment is received and processed as applicable. Review orders carefully before submitting; we may be unable to cancel after acceptance. If we change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information you provided.

Purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with our Refund Policy.

SECTION 4 – PRICES, BILLING, AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect when the order is placed, as shown in your confirmation. Unless expressly stated, prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs, or import charges.

Promotions may have separate terms. If promotion terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms govern for that promotion.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information and to keep it updated so we can complete transactions and contact you.

You represent that (i) payment information is true and complete, (ii) you are authorized to use the payment method, (iii) charges will be honored, and (iv) you will pay amounts due, including applicable taxes and shipping.

Subscriptions (including Web Service and Managed Starlink service).

Subscription products renew automatically at the then-current interval (e.g., monthly or yearly) until canceled.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
You may cancel future renewals through your customer account tools where available, or by contacting support@drone-mapper.com. Cancellation timing and any refunds are governed by the Refund Policy and any subscription disclosures at checkout.
We may change subscription pricing with notice as required by law or as stated at checkout; continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted.
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, or material breach of these Terms.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you when we transfer products to the carrier, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

SECTION 6 – NATURE AND LIMITATIONS OF DETECTION SERVICES (IMPORTANT)

Drone-Mapper products and software are designed to support Remote ID–based situational awareness. Please read this section carefully.

6.1 Not a complete detection or security system. The Services are not radar, not a guaranteed drone detection or tracking system, not counter-UAS, and not a substitute for professional security, surveillance, public safety, or emergency response systems or personnel.

6.2 Detection is not guaranteed. The Services may fail to detect, display, record, alert on, or retain information about aircraft or activity, including when:

an aircraft does not broadcast Remote ID (or broadcasts incompletely or incorrectly);
signals are out of range, obstructed, interfered with, or affected by environment, weather, or RF conditions;
hardware is poorly placed, powered off, misconfigured, damaged, or offline;
mesh, gateway, network, power, or internet/backhaul links fail;
software, hosting, or third-party services are unavailable or delayed;
account, filter, zone, or alert settings exclude or miss an event.

6.3 Data may be incomplete or inaccurate. Information shown or stored by the Services (including maps, tracks, altitudes, identifiers, pilot-related fields, history, alerts, and exports) may be incomplete, delayed, wrong, or outdated. Data depends on third-party broadcasts, your equipment and configuration, and optional enrichment sources (for example registration-style lookups and elevation data used for AGL-related calculations). We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party or broadcast data.

6.4 No liability for reliance on presence or absence of data. You are solely responsible for decisions made—or not made—based on information the Services provide, or based on the absence of information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, claim, or damage arising from:

aircraft or activity that was not detected, recorded, displayed, or alerted;
aircraft or activity that was detected or recorded incorrectly;
missed, delayed, or failed alerts or exports;
security, safety, privacy, property, operational, or legal outcomes related to your use of the Services.

6.5 Customer responsibilities. You are responsible for: lawful use; site assessment and node placement (including height and coverage); power and mounting; network and firewall configuration; gateway internet/backhaul; physical security of hardware; user access control; verifying that the system meets your operational needs; and compliance with all laws applicable to your use (including privacy, surveillance, and employment rules where relevant).

6.6 No emergency use. Do not rely on the Services as a sole or primary system for life safety, emergency dispatch, or critical infrastructure protection without independent systems and procedures.

SECTION 7 – WEB SERVICE AND SOFTWARE LICENSE

Subject to these Terms and timely payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Drone-Mapper Web Service (and any related software we provide) for your internal operational purposes during your active subscription or authorized term.

You may not: reverse engineer (except to the extent mandatory law allows); bypass access controls; resell or sublicense the service as a standalone competing hosted offering; probe or attack the infrastructure; or use the service to violate law or third-party rights.

We may update software and Web Service features over time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

Operational content in your instance is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for users you authorize and for content and destinations you configure (including alert emails, SMS, and webhooks).

SECTION 8 – MANAGED STARLINK AND THIRD-PARTY CONNECTIVITY

Managed Starlink and similar offerings may include hardware we supply and/or a managed service component. Satellite connectivity depends on third-party networks, coverage, weather, equipment placement, and provider terms. We do not control Starlink or other carriers and do not warrant uninterrupted connectivity.

Third-party network and account terms apply in addition to these Terms. Service fees, coverage, and provider rates may change. Cancellation and refunds for connectivity and related hardware follow the Refund Policy and any disclosures at checkout.

SECTION 9 – HARDWARE WARRANTY (SUMMARY)

Hardware warranties, returns, and replacements are described in our Refund Policy. Except as expressly stated there or on a product page, hardware is otherwise subject to the disclaimers in these Terms.

SECTION 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services—including trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, video, audio, software, firmware (except open-source components licensed separately), and the design and arrangement of site content—are owned by Drone-Mapper, its affiliates, or licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms allow you to use the Services as intended for your internal purposes under your purchase or subscription. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, or exploit site materials or our software except as we expressly permit in writing or as allowed by mandatory law. Open-source components are provided under their applicable licenses.

Drone-Mapper names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Drone-Mapper or its licensors. Shopify’s name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Shopify. All other marks are the property of their respective owners.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

SECTION 11 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

You may be provided access to customer tools offered by third parties. We do not control those tools. They are provided “as is” and “as available” without endorsement. Your use is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms. Future features we offer through the Services are also subject to these Terms.

SECTION 12 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain materials and links to third-party sites or embedded third-party functionality. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Access and use are at your own risk. Complaints about third-party products or services should be directed to the third party.

SECTION 13 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is powered by Shopify. Sales and purchases in our store are between you and Drone-Mapper. Shopify is not responsible for sales between you and Drone-Mapper, including injury, damage, or loss from purchased products and services. You release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising from your purchases and transactions with Drone-Mapper, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

SECTION 14 – PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Certain information related to store hosting and commerce may also be processed by Shopify under Shopify’s policies. By using the Services, you acknowledge these privacy practices as applicable.

SECTION 15 – FEEDBACK

If you submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, or similar content (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display that Feedback in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use and improving the Services.

You represent that you have rights to the Feedback, will disclose any compensation related to reviews where required, and that Feedback will comply with these Terms. We have no obligation to keep Feedback confidential, pay for it, or respond. We may remove Feedback we find unlawful or objectionable. You are solely responsible for Feedback you submit.

SECTION 16 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS

The Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping, or availability. We may correct errors and cancel or update orders if information is inaccurate, including after submission, as permitted by law.

SECTION 17 – PROHIBITED USES

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Services, directly or indirectly, to:

violate any law or regulation;
infringe intellectual property or other rights;
harass, abuse, defame, or harm others;
stalk, unlawfully surveil, or invade privacy in violation of law;
transmit malware or interfere with security or operation of the Services;
scrape, bulk-extract, or use automated means (including certain AI agents) to access the Services except as we expressly allow;
resell or exploit the Services in unauthorized ways;
attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
misrepresent detections or exports in a fraudulent manner; or
engage in conduct that harms Drone-Mapper, Shopify, or other users, or exposes them to liability.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with or without notice where permitted.

SECTION 18 – AGENTS

This section applies if you use or enable an “Agent” (software that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action) to access or interact with the Services.

No Agent may access the Services unless it identifies itself as required below, and not if we have requested that it refrain.
We may limit Agent access by technical measures.
Agents must: (i) identify in HTTP(S) requests via a user agent string including “Agent/[agent name]”; (ii) not conceal that interactions are from an Agent (including by mimicking humans or bypassing CAPTCHAs intended to distinguish bots); (iii) respond truthfully to prompts asking whether the actor is human or computer; and (iv) not circumvent measures intended to block or control Agent access.

SECTION 19 – TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend access to the Services (in whole or part) at our discretion, including for breach, non-payment, or risk to the platform. You remain liable for amounts due through the effective date of termination. Sections that by nature should survive (including Intellectual Property, Feedback, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Privacy references) will survive.

SECTION 20 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Information on or through the Services is for general informational and operational-support purposes. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or usefulness. Reliance is at your own risk.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS OR OUR REFUND POLICY, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DETECTIONS, ALERTS, OR DATA WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE. SOME JURISDICTIONS LIMIT DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, DISCLAIMERS APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

SECTION 21 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRONE-MAPPER AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (AND SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES, TO THE EXTENT CLAIMS RELATE TO THE STORE PLATFORM) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO DRONE-MAPPER FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY (OR, IF NONE, FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50)).

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY TO CLAIMS RELATED TO DETECTION FAILURES, DATA ERRORS, MISSED ALERTS, DOWNTIME, AND RELIANCE ON THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF INFORMATION, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

SECTION 22 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Drone-Mapper, Shopify (as applicable to platform claims), and our respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (1) your breach of these Terms or policies; (2) your violation of law or third-party rights; (3) your use of the Services, including decisions made based on data or lack of data; (4) your hardware installation, site operations, or alert configurations; or (5) content or destinations you configure (including emails, SMS, and webhooks).

We will notify you of an indemnifiable claim when practical. Failure to notify promptly does not relieve you unless you are materially prejudiced. We may control defense and settlement of claims at your expense, but will not settle a claim imposing non-monetary obligations on you without your consent (not unreasonably withheld). You will cooperate in the defense.

SECTION 23 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder of the Terms will continue in effect.

SECTION 24 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms and policies or rules we post regarding the Services form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements on that subject. Ambiguities will not be construed against the drafter.

SECTION 25 – ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without notice or consent. Unauthorized assignment by you is void.

SECTION 26 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any dispute arising out of the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and applicable U.S. federal law. You and Drone-Mapper consent to exclusive venue and personal jurisdiction in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

SECTION 28 – CHANGES TO TERMS

The current Terms are available on this page. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be handled as required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where law requires otherwise.
